About this Event

The Center for Urban Science + Progress (CUSP) at NYU Tandon and Transit Techies welcome you to attend a workshop by Nissim Ram on creating heatmaps with Python!

Create compelling visualizations with just a few lines of Python using powerful libraries like Seaborn and Matplotlib! In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to build heatmaps from both tabular and geographic data, explore the basics of spatial vs. non-spatial formats, and see how combining them can unlock rich, interactive maps. We'll demo building a heatmap, and you'll leave with practical skills that you can apply straight away.

Connect with NYU Tandon CUSP and Transit Techies NYC at this talk and enjoy networking over light bites and refreshments. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own food.

The event will be held at 370 Jay Street, Brooklyn, NY in Room 1201. We hope to see you there!
